Family Pets

My family and I own nearly 2 dozen pets. Taking care of them is a joy and watching them grow from babies into adults is even more fun. This is a list of some of the animals we have collected over the years.

  • Notes: we made the mistake of putting him in the same tank as our other axolotl, not knowing he was a cannibal. Thankfully, they have the ability to regenerate their limbs, so our other one is as good as new (regrew his 4 legs and his tail)!

  • Notes: was the size of the finger nail of my little finger when we got her… she grew fast

240 Gallon Fish Tank

New fish join this tank every few months

Current Fish:

  • 5 tinfoil barbs
  • 2 parrot cichlids
  • upside down catfish (10 years old)
  • 4 severums
  • 2 pictus catfish
  • sun catfish
  • 3 botias
  • 3 cool catfish (don’t know name)
  • striped leporinus
